The Vice President of LIHTC Project Management will oversee the management and execution of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) real estate deals and projects, ensuring their successful completion. This role will be remote with some travel and plays a critical part in driving project efficiency and quality.

Job Description

  • Lead and oversee the management of LIHTC real estate deals and projects from initiation to completion.
  • Drive all underwriting and closings in close partnerships with originations, asset management and IR teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations and other applicable policies.
  • Provide strategic guidance to project teams and stakeholders to address challenges and achieve objectives.
  • Evaluate project performance and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Prepare and present reports on project progress to senior leadership.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure financial objectives are met for each project.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, investors, and other key stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Vice President of LIHTC Project Management should have:

  • Extensive experience with LIHTC real estate project management.
  • Experience working for a syndicator, bank, non-profit or real estate developer.
  • Will have led deal closes and posses strong underwriting skills and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial services and property development processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • A track record of ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
