The company offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment where operational excellence, accuracy, and attention to detail are highly valued.Job DescriptionThe Vice President of Payroll will play a critical role in managing end-to-end payroll operations for over 1000 employees across states. Working closely with a lean and experienced payroll team, this leader will help oversee payroll processing, ensure regulatory compliance, and support continuous process improvements.Key responsibilities include:Manage and execute multi-state payroll operations with a high degree of accuracy and compliance.Partner with payroll team members to divide and manage payroll responsibilities efficiently.Utilize Workday Payroll to support payroll administration, reporting, and operational processes.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.Review payroll controls, reconciliations, and auditing processes.Support process optimization and operational improvements within payroll functions.Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other internal stakeholders on payroll-related matters.Assist with year-end payroll activities and regulatory reporting requirements.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
