This Construction Project Engineer will play a foundational role in supporting wastewater, heavy industrial and select ground-up commercial developments. Working directly with Project Managers and Superintendents, this individual will focus heavily on project documentation, coordination, and field support to ensure schedule alignment, cost control, and adherence to brand and quality standards.
This Applications Engineer supports customers by troubleshooting, programming, and optimizing Swiss CNC machines in the field and in the office. This role balances hands‑on technical work with customer interaction, process development, and machine assessments.
The Project Engineer will lead engineering, design and project management activities for high‑specification technology projects, ensuring mechanical, electrical, and programming components meet all requirements. This role drives projects from concept through completion by coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing schedules and deliverables, and collaborating directly with customers and suppliers.
Partner closely with the General Superintendent and other Lead Superintendents to help lead day‑to‑day site operations, coordinate subcontractors, uphold safety and quality, and keep projects on schedule. Take ownership in the field with real decision‑making authority, resolve challenges hands‑on, and build the experience needed to step into a future Lead Superintendent role. You will be exposed to the full project life cycle.
This Mechanical Design Engineer sits within an R&D group responsible for designing and customizing CNC machine accessories and systems to meet customer-specific requirements. The engineer leads mechanical design efforts while supporting builds, integration, and installation activities.
