This role will work alongside the team of eight and gain exposure across all aspects of accounting including AP/AR, month end close, audit and financial statements.

The Staff Accountant will leverage broad accounting expertise to support multiple lines of business and contribute across a diverse range of accounting functions.

In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing and issuing invoices once projects are completed, while partnering closely with accounting, leadership, and project teams to ensure billing accuracy. You will also oversee and refine invoicing processes to minimize discrepancies and confirm that all charges, documentation, and details are correct before invoicing is finalized.
This role is responsible for supporting the month-end close process, maintaining the general ledger, preparing reconciliations, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP. The position also supports fixed assets, intercompany accounting, sales tax filings, process improvements, and audit activities within a fast-paced retail environment.
I am currently partnered with the VP of Finance & Controller at a Global, ~$500M Manufacturing Organization, that is an industry leader within their space, as they look at add a Staff Accountant to their Accounting & Finance team. Located near the Wheaton, IL area, they are looking for a Accountant coming from a background within the Manufacturing Industry and/or a background within Public Accounting, and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
