Responsible for leading preconstruction and estimating efforts for commercial construction projects. Develops detailed cost estimates, analyzes drawings and specifications, solicits and evaluates subcontractor bids, prepares budgets, manages bid submissions, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and collaborates with project teams to ensure accurate pricing and successful project execution from concept through award.

Create and execute project preplanning activities with subcontractors. Coordinate subcontractors, architects, inspectors and suppliers to resolve any problems with materials or methods.Oversee other other Superintendents on projects. Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules. Document on-site activities in a daily report including verbal directives, delays, and on-site manpower.
