Our Partner is a life sciences company that is developing and manufacturing products with forward-thinking technologies for the healthcare, biotech, and food and beverage industries.​​

Because of our track record of successful placements for our Partner in collaboration with their VP of Operations, the Michael Page team was retained to work on the search for a Director of Global Services.

Solution 

Michael Page started off by thoroughly understanding the requirements of the role. The candidate would be expected to bring a more strategic approach to customer service, as well as a dedication to customer productivity and quality extending beyond product purchase. The candidate would also be responsible for doubling the size of the Global Services Team. This would be an extremely critical position filled by a candidate with the technical know-how, commercial acumen, and communication skills to collaborate with every department, from R&D and operations, to sales and marketing.​

Michael Page’s Boston-based Medical Devices recruitment team advertised the role on its website as well as third party recruitment channels such as LinkedIn.​

They carried out targeted searches based on the well-defined skills and experience prerequisites. Additionally, having previously placed many similar roles across other partners, the team had an existing database of strong candidates with experience in the Clinical or Medical Device sectors. ​
