Job Description

The Commissioning Manager will lead all on-site quality efforts and ensure strict adherence to standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality inspectors, supervisors, and technicians
  • Develop and implement the project Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs), submittals, and method statements
  • Oversee inspections across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes
  • Conduct audits, identify non-conformances, and drive corrective actions
  • Manage quality documentation, reporting, and final handover packages
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors on all quality matters

The Successful Applicant

For the Commissioning Manager, we are seeking:

  • 10+ years of QA/QC experience in construction, engineering, mission critical, or industrial projects
  • Proven track record on large-scale projects (mission critical, industrial, or infrastructure)
  • At least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
  • Strong understanding of quality standards such as ISO 9001
  • Experience with inspections, audits, and non-conformance management
  • Proficiency with project software and Microsoft Office tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Professional certifications (ASQ, AWS, NACE, or ISO Lead Auditor) preferred
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
