The business has a staff of 140 across multiple labs and service offerings and anticipates high growth due to customer demand.Job DescriptionDevelop and execute both short- and long-term business development and marketing strategies aimed at achieving the company's growth and profitability objectives.Lead high-level business development initiatives, including prospecting, meeting with potential clients, delivering presentations on company capabilities, negotiating contracts, and managing the end-to-end process of onboarding new clients.Formulate and implement sales strategies to target organizations for preclinical services.Collaborate closely with the scientific research team to ensure that potential and existing clients receive a seamless and responsive experience throughout the sales cycle.Proactively generate new business opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and outreach to prospective clients; maintain strong relationships with existing and past clients.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
