We are seeking an experienced Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Project Manager with strong, hands-on 765kV project experience to lead high-voltage infrastructure projects from inception through completion. This individual will be responsible for overall project execution, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Job Description

This role will lead multi-disciplinary teams across Design-Only, EPC, Construction Management, and Program Management projects, and may serve as an EPC Project Manager or Program Manager depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of project execution including safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, and risk management
  • Manage projects from concept through engineering, procurement, construction, and closeout
  • Establish and lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring efficient resource utilization
  • Serve as the primary client contact, managing communication, expectations, and strategic alignment
  • Oversee development of RFP packages, bid evaluations, and scope of work documentation
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Manage contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and negotiations
  • Lead project risk reviews and coordinate with internal risk management teams
  • Oversee project controls including cost tracking, WBS development, scheduling, and reporting
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed to meet goals
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage project closeout and documentation turnover processes
  • Support business development through client relationship management and new opportunities
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to junior team members
  • Ensure adherence to QA/QC processes and company safety policies
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and professional committees

The Successful Applicant

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum 7+ years of project management experience specifically supporting 765kV transmission or substation projects
  • Demonstrated, substantial hands-on experience with 765kV systems (not limited or incidental exposure)
  • Strong background in EPC or large-scale infrastructure project delivery
  • Proven experience managing project scope, schedule, and cost controls
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • Experience with document control, scheduling systems, and cost management software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in industries such as energy, transmission & distribution, oil & gas, manufacturing, or large-scale infrastructure
  • Prior field or construction site experience
  • Program management experience across multiple projects
