Job Description

The Entry Level Project Engineer - Civil Construction - NoVA will:

  • Participate in a structured rotational development program focused on estimating, field operations, and project management.
  • Support project teams on commercial, multifamily, residential, and transportation site development projects.
  • Assist with project planning, scheduling, documentation, and coordination efforts.
  • Work closely with field superintendents and project managers to monitor project progress and resolve challenges.
  • Help track project costs, budgets, and production quantities.
  • Conduct site visits to observe construction activities and gain practical field experience.
  • Coordinate communication between clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Utilize Microsoft Project, Excel, and company project management systems to support project execution.
  • Learn company processes for safety, quality, cost control, and project delivery.
  • Collaborate with experienced construction professionals in a highly communicative team environment.

The Successful Applicant

he Entry Level Project Engineer - Civil Construction - NoVA will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Individuals with internship or entry-level construction experience.
  • Internship experience within construction, engineering, or related industries is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Desire to build a long-term career in project management and civil construction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to travel to project sites throughout Northern Virginia.
  • Valid driver's license.
