Known for technical depth, project reliability, and long‑term utility partnerships, they manage high‑visibility grid‑modernization and resiliency initiatives nationwide.Job DescriptionDevelop detailed cost estimates for T&D construction projects, including:Overhead distribution (4kV-35kV)Underground distribution / URDTransmission lines (69kV-500kV)Substation civil and electrical scopesPole replacements, structure setting, reconductoring, fiber/OPGW workInterpret utility construction standards, design drawings, spec sheets, and BOMsComplete site walks, structure count verification, and field takeoffs across multiple statesCollaborate with Project Managers, T&D Engineers, Construction Supervisors, and utility stakeholdersPerform quantity takeoffs, crew/labor productivity analysis, equipment planning, and unit pricing developmentReview subcontractor and vendor quotes (pole suppliers, wire vendors, civil contractors, etc.)Maintain consistent estimate documentation, cost databases, and as‑bid/as‑built comparisonsAssist in developing RFP/RFQ responses, bid packages, and cost/constructability recommendationsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
