Our client is a leading law firm who is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to their General Council in a fast-paced environment. This is a Contract to Hire role and will be on-site in DC.
  • Prior experience working at a law firm or non-profit is preferred.
  • Must be local to DC.

Job Description

  • Calendar Management: Strategically coordinate, evaluate, and prioritize meetings to ensure optimal use of the General Counsel's time.
  • Confidentiality: Handle highly sensitive corporate, litigation, and employment matters with absolute discretion.
  • Document Preparation: Draft, edit, and proofread legal correspondence, board presentations, and contracts.
  • Department Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between the legal department, C-suite executives, external law firms, and internal stakeholders.
  • Administrative Operations: Oversee legal department expenses, manage billing/vendor invoices, and onboard new legal staff.

The Successful Applicant

  • Must have 3-7+ years of experience as a Executive Assistant.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Experience in providing administrative support in the business services industry is preferred.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Must be able to work on-site in DC.
  • This role is Contract to Hire and applicants should be immediately available.
