This role is responsible for end-to-end grants accounting ownership within a fast-paced nonprofit environment. The accountant will manage compliance, reporting, budgeting, and financial oversight across multiple funding streams while partnering directly with program leadership.

Job Description

  • Prepare and submit vouchers to government agencies
  • Manage grant budgets, allocations, modifications, and closeouts
  • Support audits, Single Audit preparation, and CFR reporting
  • Oversee salary allocations and perform variance analysis
  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages
  • Manage CACFP claims and submissions
  • Partner with program directors on financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with all funding regulations and internal controls
  • Provide cross-coverage across finance functions as needed
