They are looking for a candidate who is eager to grow in their HR career work in a fast-paced, service environment where employees collectively strive towards excellence. The role is 5 days onsite near Midtown. Up to $80K annually.Job DescriptionProcess and coordinate weekly payroll for approximately 200 hourly and salaried employees.Ensure compliance with all federal, New York State, and New York City wage and hour regulations, including overtime, spread of hours, paid sick leave, and other applicable employment laws.Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including I-9 administration, new hire documentation, and final pay processing.Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, policies, and leave programs.Support leave administration, including FMLA, New York Paid Family Leave (PFL), and other applicable leave policies.Assist with employment verifications, workers' compensation claims, unemployment claims, audits, and compliance reporting.Partner with managers to support recruiting efforts, interview coordination, and hiring processes.Support the rollout of HR initiatives, policies, and process improvements.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
