Job Description

  • Administer and oversee employee leave programs, including FMLA, parental leave, and other time-off policies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws and regulations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding leave-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee leave information and update systems as needed.
  • Coordinate with payroll to ensure seamless leave administration.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on leave eligibility and processes.
  • Develop and deliver training materials related to leave policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of leave and benefits processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Leave of Absence Coordinator should have:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience with leave administration and.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local leave laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and software is a plus (Workday preferred).
  • Bachelors degree (required).
