Job Description

  • Support all phases of litigation, including filings, discovery and trial preparation
  • Prepare and submit court documents via electronic filing systems (e.g. PACER, e-filing tools)
  • Assist with drafting pleadings, briefs and other legal documentation
  • Conduct legal and non-legal research using tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis and online databases
  • Manage and organize case files, ensuring compliance with internal protocols
  • Use litigation support platforms (e.g. Relativity) to manage and analyze large data sets
  • Coordinate eDiscovery processes, including document collection and production tracking
  • Prepare chronologies, exhibits and key document sets for attorney review
  • Assist with depositions, hearings, interviews and trial preparation
  • Track deadlines and proactively support case teams
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant court rules and procedures
  • Mentor junior team members and support best practice adoption

The Successful Applicant

A successful Litigation Paralegal should have:

  • Bachelor's degree with ~3 years of litigation paralegal experience
  • Strong knowledge of litigation processes, court systems and e-filing procedures
  • Advanced Excel and strong proficiency across legal and Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with legal research platforms (e.g. Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER)
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery workflows and litigation databases (e.g. Relativity)
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Discreet and capable of handling confidential information
  • Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently when required
  • Flexible with working hours and occasional travel
