Commercial general contractor located in downtown Kansas City. Annual revenue is about $100M a year and portfolio consists of mainly healthcare, education, industrial, and commercial projects. Company is rapidly growing and continuously winning work. With all projects local to the Greater KC Area, they are looking for a talented Superintendent to join their growing team!

Job Description

Supervise all aspects of construction projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain project timelines.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards on-site.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts to maintain smooth project execution.
Manage on-site personnel and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Oversee the procurement and allocation of materials and equipment for the project.
Maintain thorough documentation of project activities and progress reports.

The Successful Applicant

A successful LOCAL Superintendent should have:

Proven expertise in commercial construction, with a track record of successfully completed projects.
Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage teams and schedules effectively.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and regulations.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred but not required
10+ years of construction experience as a Superintendent
Experience working on education, commercial, healthcare, or industrial construction projects.
Experience working on $5M-$20M values of projects.
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, market conditions, and subcontractor trades.
Proficiency in software and construction tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Highly organized with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
