Payroll is a core priority, with recent system integrations and investments in people, technology, and process improvement.Job DescriptionLead end‑to‑end, multi‑state payroll processing across multiple entities.Maintain payroll data integrity (new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, benefits, timecards).Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and tax laws (including CA and NY).Act as escalation point for complex payroll issues and employee inquiries.Partner with HR and Finance on reconciliations, reporting, and audits.Support system optimization and process improvements (ADP Workforce Now; Workday a plus).Assist with year‑end activities including W‑2s and tax filings.Mentor and support payroll specialists, providing coverage and guidance as needed.Help shape payroll policies, procedures, and best practices during continued integration.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
