A general contractor specializing in federal work in New England is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. This person will work 90% remote with occasional travel to projects.

Job Description

  • Manage end-to-end project timelines, budgets, and deliverables for federal and public construction projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and public sector regulations and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or risks proactively.
  • Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and future collaboration.
  • Participate in occasional on-site visits to oversee project execution and address any concerns.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager should have:

  • 5+ years of experience - can have APM or PM title
  • Ideally has government or public background, but open to Commercial background as well
  • Experience with Procore and MS office
  • Located in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, or Rhode Island
  • A background in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience managing projects within the federal and public sectors.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and team members.
  • Proficiency with project management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with federal and public sector compliance requirements.
