Job Description

  • Lead all on‑site construction activities for public projects valued $15M+, ensuring schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards are met.
  • Manage daily subcontractor coordination, site logistics, inspections, and project documentation.
  • Oversee site safety programs and ensure full compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, engineers, owners, and field teams to resolve challenges and maintain project momentum.
  • Maintain detailed reporting using Procore, including RFIs, daily logs, safety records, and progress tracking.
  • Conduct regular site meetings, enforce project plans/specifications, and ensure strong quality control throughout the build.
  • Drive timely issue resolution and maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Public Ground Up - Senior Superintendent should have:

  • 10+ years of field experience working for a General Contractor on complex public or institutional projects.
  • Proven history overseeing ground‑up builds with budgets of $15M or more.
  • Deep understanding of public procurement requirements, regulatory compliance, and multi‑phase construction delivery.
  • Strong proficiency in Procore and other construction management software.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and subcontractor management capabilities.
  • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to keep large, fast‑moving job sites running smoothly.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
