The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication for a leading financial services firm located in Midtown. This role involves managing front desk operations, handling inquiries, and supporting administrative tasks. This role is on-site Monday-Friday from 8am-5:30pm with overtime eligibility.

Job Description

  • Greet visitors and manage check-ins with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
  • Support Executive Assistants throughout the office as needed.
  • Travel to and from local NYC offices and to the Greenwich office, as needed.
  • Assist with scheduling and calendar management for the team.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry and filing.
  • Ensure security protocols are followed for all guests and deliveries.
  • Handle ad hoc tasks to support the secretarial and business support department.

The Successful Applicant

  • Completed Bachelors Degree is required.
  • 1 year of corporate/office experience.
  • Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or retail experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint) and Zoom.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
  • Ability to start immediately & work on-site in Midtown.
  • Hours: 8:00am-5:30pm with overtime eligivlity.
