Full-time office presence is required (4-5 days), reflecting the importance placed on partnership, innovation, and leadership accessibility.This opportunity is ideally suited to an agile, future-focused leader who embraces change, leverages technology to enhance outcomes, and is excited to help shape the next generation of Total Rewards practices within a sophisticated financial services organization.Job DescriptionThe Senior Vice President, Total Rewards will report into the Chief People Officer and lead a small team responsible for executive compensation, compensation governance, benefits strategy, and Total Rewards program effectiveness across the organization.Duties listed and not restricted to:Lead executive compensation strategy, governance, and compensation committee support activitiesOwn preparation and authorship of Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A) disclosures and executive compensation sections of proxy filingsDesign, administer, and oversee short-term and long-term incentive plans for senior executivesPartner with executive leadership and the Board's compensation committee on compensation strategy, benchmarking, and governanceLead annual compensation planning cycles, including salary, bonus, equity, and executive rewards programsOversee benefits strategy, vendor management, and Total Rewards program effectivenessLeverage analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence tools to enhance reporting, compensation modeling, and decision-making processesAdditional note: Candidates available for an immediate start are of interest. The client is open to evaluating both permanent and interim/temporary solutions for the right individual.The Successful ApplicantFor the Senior Vice President, Total Rewards we are seeking:15+ years of progressive compensation and Total Rewards experienceSignificant executive compensation expertise within a publicly traded company environmentNon-negotiable experience authoring Compensation Discussion & Analysis (CD&A) disclosuresPrevious experience supporting a Board Compensation Committee or equivalent governance structureBanking, financial services, or similarly regulated industry experience is requiredDeep understanding of executive compensation regulations, governance practices, and proxy disclosure requirementsExperience managing and developing high-performing teamsStrong analytical, financial modeling, and compensation benchmarking capabilitiesDemonstrated success working in highly technical, innovation-focused organizationsAppreciation for artificial intelligence, automation, and technology-enabled operating modelsExceptional communication skills and executive presenceAbility to navigate ambiguity, move quickly, and influence senior stakeholdersMotivated, resilient, and energized by high-performance environments where pace and accountability are expectedA hands-on leader who genuinely enjoys team leadership, mentorship, and talent developmentPlease note: only serious applicants who meet the technical requirements outlined above will be consideredWhat's on OfferInterested?
