Job Description

  • Lead engineering design and execution for complex utility projects
  • Perform engineering analyses, technical studies, and conceptual designs
  • Prepare and present technical findings to internal teams and external partners
  • Develop design criteria, scope documents, specifications, and reports
  • Conduct field walkdowns and participate in design review meetings
  • Evaluate and recommend alternative project approaches
  • Support procurement by preparing and reviewing contracts and proposals
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
  • Participate in restoration planning and root cause analysis
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, reports, and revisions
  • Respond to system or facility emergencies as needed
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment

The Successful Applicant

A successful T&D Project Engineer should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering and design



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with electrical transmission line engineering (115kV-500kV)
  • Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., GO 95, NESC)
  • Familiarity with transmission design tools (PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, etc.)
  • Exposure to project management principle
