We are seeking a Lead Project Manager to drive execution of complex Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects. This role will lead high-voltage transmission and substation initiatives from planning through construction and closeout, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential to convert into a long-term leadership role.
This position will offer you the opportunity to manage the execution of multiple transmission, substation, and distribution projects - spanning both brownfield (existing site upgrades) and greenfield (new site development) environments across power levels ranging from 69 kV up to 500+ kV. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless life‑cycle management of capital project execution.
This hybrid‑plus‑travel role gives you the opportunity to manage multiple transmission, substation, and distribution projects throughout the Southeast-often traveling to regional utility sites while working from home or a local office on planning and execution. You'll support both brownfield upgrades and greenfield development from 69 kV to 500+ kV, coordinating closely with stakeholders across multiple states to ensure seamless project delivery.
We are seeking a Project Manager I - T&D to support the execution of transmission line and substation projects (typically 69kV-230kV). This role is ideal for a developing project manager ready to take on increasing ownership of project scope, cost, and schedule, while working alongside senior leadership. You will play a key role in coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring successful delivery across the full project lifecycle-from engineering through construction and closeout.
