The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide essential support to attorneys and other legal professionals within Corporate and Litigation areas. This role involves managing administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations in a Big Law environment. This role is hybrid in San Francisco.

This role is a with a consistenly top ranked Big Law firm. The San Francisco is a smaller office, so the ideal candidate is very collaborative, dynamic, and has experience supporting Partners directly.

Job Description

  • Coordinate schedules and manage calendars for attorneys and legal teams.
  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain legal files, both physical and electronic.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and phone calls.
  • Assist with billing, timekeeping, and expense reporting.
  • Arrange travel plans and logistics for attorneys as needed.
  • Support legal research and document retrieval tasks.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to ensure smooth daily operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Administrative Assistant should have:

  • Experience supporting Partners directly, ideally in a Big Law environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage various administrative tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency with legal documentation and familiarity with legal terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
  • Experience with scheduling, calendar management, and travel arrangements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
