The organization partners with government agencies, foundations, and community stakeholders to deliver mission-driven services that create meaningful and lasting impact.Job Description* Oversee a portfolio of grants and contracts, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation, review, and submission of financial reports, invoices, and reimbursement requests.* Review accounts payable transactions and expense coding to ensure compliance with funding requirements and organizational policies.* Prepare and reconcile journal entries related to grant activity, revenue recognition, accruals, and indirect cost allocations.* Work closely with Program, Development, Legal, and Finance teams to support grant administration, contract compliance, reporting obligations, and funding requirements.* Monitor and maintain compliance with government, foundation, and other funding source regulations and reporting standards.* Support the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and ad hoc analyses to assist leadership in decision-making.* Assist with external audits, funder reviews, and compliance examinations, including Single Audit requirements and related documentation.* Analyze budget-to-actual performance, identify variances, and provide insights to support financial planning and operational effectiveness.* Contribute to process improvements and special projects that enhance financial operations and organizational efficiency.* Perform additional responsibilities and initiatives as assigned.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
