The Traveling Superintendent role will focus on projects in the retail, restaurant, office and multifamily space overseeing and managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This position requires extensive travel and expertise in supervising on-site operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high-quality standards.

These roles support ground-up and complex builds across sectors including data centers, tilt-wall, federal, multifamily, retail, and big-box construction.

The Superintendent will oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This role in the property construction industry requires excellent leadership skills and a strong understanding of construction processes. 70% of their project pipeline is typically in the local healthcare or retail sectors however, they do complete work in all commercial sectors locally.

You will manage ground‑up retail projects-grocery, gas station, and big‑box work-from precon through closeout with full ownership of schedule, budget, and subcontractor performance. The role is best suited for a PM with under 20 years of experience who brings stable tenure, strong communication skills, and the ability to run multiple active jobs in the Southeast.

Upcoming projects include: hotel, healthcare, municipal, car dealerships and other retail, light industrial, and many more.

This position plays a key role in coordinating commercial construction activities across sectors such as higher education, retail, and industrial work, ensuring project information, scheduling updates, and cost controls are accurately maintained. It also supports field operations by managing documentation, assisting with subcontractor communications, and helping drive timely, high‑quality project execution from preconstruction through closeout.
