As the Director of Preconstruction, you will be responsible for leading estimating strategy, preconstruction workflows, and team development for commercial interiors and select base building work across the DMV. You will partner with operations, project management, and executive leadership to deliver accurate, competitive pricing and risk-managed proposals while mentoring a senior and junior estimator.

The Director of Estimating will lead all preconstruction and estimating efforts for a well‑established commercial general contractor, overseeing conceptual budgeting through final pricing across interior and infrastructure projects. This role combines hands‑on technical expertise with team leadership, strategic oversight, and close collaboration with internal stakeholders.

This role oversees a team of four estimators and works closely with project managers and design partners to develop budgets, evaluate scopes, and identify value‑engineering opportunities.
