This Superintendent will lead a ~50 unit mixed-use building in the city of Madison. They will be accountable for the structure being completed with excellence and on time. They will receive support from a Project Manager with 30 years building experience and carpenters/assistant superintendents. The long-term expectation is that this person will deliver about 50 units per year. All qualified applicants will receive a call in under 24 hours.
Provide a daily client update including project progress report and photographs keep a daily log of what took place on site for each project. Communicate with the client daily about the project and be prepared for everything.
Manage on site operations and personnel with direct responsibility for project schedule, sequence of construction, logistics, means & methods, safety, security, municipal inspections and quality assurance. Manage and mentor field personnel assigned to the project.
Create and execute project preplanning activities with subcontractors. Coordinate subcontractors, architects, inspectors and suppliers to resolve any problems. Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and the adherence to construction schedules.
