I'm partnered with the CFO at a multi-million dollar subsidiary of a F200 conglomerate located near Chicago Heights, IL. The holding company has over 100 businesses and 12 different groups, with this division in particular being in huge growth mode. They are now seeking a Controller to join the growing team due to an internal promotion. Reporting into the President with support from the parent company, you will have ownership of the accounting and finance function for the Illinois location. This is a 50/50 blended role of Accounting & Finance, managing the month-end close and forecasting/budgeting process, while leading a team of 2 Staff Accountants. As the Controller, you will also drive key process improvements to create efficiencies within the organization involving month-end, forecasting/budgeting, system implementations, and more.

This position will be supporting the Controller in multiple job costing efforts along assisting in month end close activites.
Reporting directly into the Director of Finance & Accounting with tons of support from the rest of the team, you will have full ownership of the accounting function for 3 entities. This includes handling the month-end close process, AP/AR, intercompany reconciliations, and more. In addition, there are tons of opportunities for growth in this company and to gain more responsibilities in this role as well.
I'm partnered with a global, billion-dollar manufacturer/distributor in Schaumburg, IL. This company is in rapid growth mode through key strategic acquisitions, and they are now looking to bring on a Plant Controller to their growing team.
Reporting into the Director of Finance, the Plant Controller will be a true strategic business partner to supply chain, operations, and logistics teams across 40+ distribution/manufacturing centers centers. In addition, you will own and build out the cost accounting processes and procedures, and continue to drive process improvements within the team.
This role will allow you to manage your own project load and owning the accounting, while also managing a team of 2-3 project accountants. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in managing a team and gain guidance from the leadership on how to best establish a growing team.
Reporting directly into the Senior Director of Finance, you will be responsible for analyzing and controlling manufacturing costs, inventory, month-end duties, and ensuring accurate budgeting to support efficient business operations. In addition, you will partner cross-functionally with the various departments and support any plant needs.
