The Assistant Project Manager plays a crucial role in supporting our project management team in planning, executing, and delivering high-quality modular construction projects. Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing retail construction projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery within the specified timeline, budget, and quality standards. An ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This person is responsible for preparing preliminary budgets, milestone cost estimates, and final bid proposals for various types of commercial & multifamily construction projects in San Diego. Will build effective relationships with team members, internal and external customers, suppliers, and subcontractors. You will report to the Chief Estimator and oversee job-specific project teams and will participate in business development and client engagement.
To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering/Management and at least 6-10 years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry (industrial, health care, retail, office, senior living and multi-family experience preferred).
