I'm partnered with the CFO at a multi-million dollar leader in their space located near Chicago Heights, IL. The company is in huge growth mode right now and is even expanding globally. They are now looking to bring on a Senior Cost Accountant to join their team.
Reporting directly into the Senior Director of Finance, you will be responsible for analyzing and controlling manufacturing costs, inventory, month-end duties, and ensuring accurate budgeting to support efficient business operations. In addition, you will partner cross-functionally with the various departments and support any plant needs.

There are 20 manufacturing sites across NA and 15 innovation labs that are constantly developing new products within the food commodities space. Reporting directly into the Finance Manager/Plant Controller with tons of communication and support from the VP of Finance, the Accountant will assist with the month-end close processes and gain tons of exposure to other areas of the Accounting & Finance function. As the Staff Accountant, you will gain exposure to all aspects of the accounting and finance function. Reporting into the Controller, this individual will learn and assist with the corporate month-end close process, while also handling any ad hoc special projects to drive the business forward. In addition, you will also have a clear and fast track progression to become the Senior Accountant!
This position will be helping support monthend close processes for their plant along with maintaining all costings needs reporting in the Plant Controller. There will also be a heavy emphasis on helping on their transition to SAP
As the Senior Financial Analyst you will support all areas of the business with an emphasis on R&D and Cost Reporting. You will provide modeling and forecasts for revenue and costs; you will also provide general accounting support to the Controller and CFO.
This position will be helping support monthend close processes for their plant along with maintaining all costings needs reporting in the Plant Controller.
The Accountant will manage the complete financial consolidation process on a monthly, quarterly, and annual schedule, ensuring all deadlines are consistently met.
