This position will be helping support monthend close processes for their plant along with maintaining all costings needs reporting in the Plant Controller.

I'm partnered with a global, billion-dollar manufacturer/distributor in Schaumburg, IL. This company is in rapid growth mode through key strategic acquisitions, and they are now looking to bring on a Controller to their growing team.

Reporting into the Director of Finance, the Controller will be a true strategic business partner to supply chain, operations, and logistics teams across 40+ distribution/manufacturing centers centers. In addition, you will own and build out the cost accounting processes and procedures, and continue to drive process improvements within the team.

The Controller will oversee the accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting within the industrial and manufacturing industry. This role offers the opportunity to lead accounting and finance processes while driving efficiency and compliance.

As the Staff Accountant, you will gain exposure to all aspects of the accounting and finance function. Reporting into the Controller, this individual will learn and assist with the corporate month-end close process, while also handling any ad hoc special projects to drive the business forward. In addition, you will also have a clear and fast track progression to become the Senior Accountant!

Reporting into the Segment Controller, this individual will handle the accounting and finance operations for one of their fastest growing divisions. You will drive continuous process improvements and partner with senior leaders across various disciplines to provide key financial analysis to support the business' growth. The individual who can come in and build these relationships with upper management will have numerous opportunities elsewhere in the company to advance their career!

There are 20 manufacturing sites across NA and 15 innovation labs that are constantly developing new products within the food commodities space. This client's customer base is in well-known stores such as Costco, Walmart, Aldi, etc. and they partner with large CPG companies such as Pepsi, Mars, Kraft, etc. They are now seeking to bring on an Accountant to their growing team.

Reporting directly into the Finance Manager/Controller with tons of communication and support from the VP of Finance, the Accountant will assist with the month-end close processes and gain tons of exposure to other areas of the Accounting & Finance function. They are wanting to offer tons of mentorship and training to this individual as you will have a fast career progression to move up within their organization.
